Specific language will be working Internet connection.

Android is Google Speech,

iPhone is use the siri?

I did not get a good English used the google translator.

Hey mininox,

Speech recognition usually requires internet connection.
And you are right about engines used under the hood, so whatever limitations they have it affects plugin as well.
