iphone X support

Hi

on iphone X (which has a taller aspect ratio than most phones) we see letterboxing at the top and bottom of the screen. It looks a little ugly

I think this breaks apples design guidelines for apps, from February it is mandatory for all apps to support iphoneX nicely

any idea if there is a quick hack to remedy this?

this forum needs me to host an image, I cant simply attach an image.
sorry I forgot to add, I have hidden the ‘header’, i.e. the title of the webpage
but a grey box where the notch is remains

Extend visual elements to fill the screen. Make sure backgrounds extend to the edges of the display, and that vertically scrollable layouts, like tables and collections, continue all the way to the bottom.

so I’d hope in this case, we’d have just a white Background at the top, not a grey box

I don’t think you can extend your website to fill that notch, that does not seem to break design guidelines.
